Why does my washing machine stll drip fabric softener at the end of the wash cycle when it should be gone .?

see here is my problem ! the washer works fine but ! when the fabric softener starts to release i think it doesn't discharge all of it there for when my cloths are done i have drips of the softener all over my cloths , and then i have to re-rince the cloths all over . Do you have to add water to it?

You could use vinegar instead of commercial fabric softener.
If it is a front-loader with a drawer, You can take the drawer out and clean it. I know it sounds daft, but it can leave a residue or even go mouldy in there.


Clean out the whole area as best you can. If this doesn't work, there may be a blockage in the pipework somewhere.
