I washed 10 items mostly jeans, including a jeans skirt, jeans jacket and cotton pants all with fabric softener instead of liquid detergent as I rushed the wash and didn't look at the bottle when adding the liquid to the wash. I never wash my jeans with fabric softener b/c I don't like the fuzziness that stays on the jeans. Should I wash all the items over or should I just leave them to hang to dry and wash them as usual the next time around? What should I do if I wash my jeans in fabric softener instead of liquid detergent?
If you can't stand the way they feel, wash them again. And stop using fabric softener; it messes with your fabrics. Use a cup of white vinegar instead, int he final rinse. What should I do if I wash my jeans in fabric softener instead of liquid detergent?
Everything is completely fine, no harm done.=)
I'd just run them through the rinse cycle once more before drying. That should remove most of it.
just hang them up to dry and wash as normal next time around.
