I have copied a pic on my inkjet printer onto fabric. how can I wash without loosing pic?

I want to make this item wearable to sew be able to sew on a tee shirt. Can anyone help me?I have copied a pic on my inkjet printer onto fabric. how can I wash without loosing pic?

soak fabric in a solution of ';one part vinegar + one part water +one part salt'; for approx. 30 minutes
