How to wash Viscose fabric?

Viscose is a close cousin to rayon. Hand wash it, very delicately, rinse it a lot and add some softener to the final rinse. Do not wring, twist or pull on it. It will rip. To dry it, rroll it up in a terry towel and let the towel take the water. Hand to dry and lightly (very lightly) pull on the seams to give it its shape back. It will feel stiff and harsh but as it dries, it will get softer. It helps to put it in the dryer for the last 15 minutes after air drying till almost dry. Iron on medium with steam.
