Fabric softner, when should I put it in the wash?

Do I just put it in the wash machine along with detergent at the start of a cycle? (Im a single guy not familiar with household stuff, Im in training)Fabric softner, when should I put it in the wash?

No, you put it in during the rinse cycle. Most newer washers have a reservoir in the center of the agitator just for liquid fabric softener, and if yours does then you fill it at the start of the wash cycle the same time as the detergent.


When all else fails go get some bounce dryer sheets and throw a couple in the dryer with every load.


Don't forget to clean the lint trap in the dryer after every load, huge fire hazard if you don't!!!

Rinse cycle or just buy a downey ball pour it in %26amp; stick it the washing machine %26amp; then you won't have to worry about it as it will open itself during the rinse cycle.
